Another reason to impeach: Governor Goodhair when asked why he chose to move into a $9,900.00 per month rental while the Governor's mansion was being remodeled as opposed to Huckaby moving his family into a mobile home stated: This ain't Arkansas. We as taxpayers are paying for this you know!

Wanted to share with you, just a quick note, as to why Texans
should get off their couch, stop watching government TV (i.e. Fox News et al) and speak
loudly about what is going on. Many Texans, born and raised in
Texas as well as transplants, realize now what the TX Corridor is all about. The
connection of Canada and Mexico, through the United States, for a
North American Union (and introduction of the "Amero" currency once the dollar is killed
off) has become evident but that was not necessarily the straw that broke the
camel's back. Americans DO NOT favor a North American Union and would certainly want to be informed as to such considerations/agreements by our political servants that we elected. All these bills being approved while the consensus policy-makers are absent is rediculous. In fact, they don't want a "funnel" created to penetrate deep into the US to Canada, they want to plug the hole up altogether. One only has to ask any person on the street - any citizen that is.

Truly, any US state Govenor that can endorse Rudy Giuliani for
President of the US must either have something very significant
to gain, perhaps jockeying for position in 2012 (maybe even 2008),
or maybe just really doesn't sense what most other Americans
sense? Mr. Giuliani has taken his exceptional characteristics as portrayed by the
main stream media post 911. The reality is, according to his own NY constituents, is that he failed in so many ways prior, during and after the 911 events. These failings and peculiarities seem to elude the American TV sets. New Yorkers are not voting for him and they live there every day or their lives - why in the world would a Texas Govenor back him? Texas carries a lot of weight in the US and for Mr. Perry to endorse any or the candidates at this early point in the election process seems out of step with historical endorsement timing. Is Mr. Giuliani's momentum slowing ?

Many, many Texans and Americans alike are now realizing the greater agenda. Should a campaign be run on a single platform; inserting the word "terror" in almost every sentence; setting the stage for additional rights to be taken from all Americans if Americans don't educate themselves quickly.

Americans are very concerned with the obvious imperialistic agendas and Texans are surprised with the Govenor's endorsement of RG. Has Govenor Perry been promised a role in the New World Order? Americans must wake up to the fact that policing the world, money-driven wars for profit and power and back-room politics has reach unmanageable proportions. One candidate out all of the 2008 GOPs and Dems has actually said something really logical - "we can't afford this anymore..." Americans indeed want a great defense to deter any foe, take reasonable measaures to be protected against actual terror threats but Americans are not interested or willing to agree to give up ANY more freedoms.

Americans are barely welcomed anywhere in the world anymore; the dollar is almost gone;
we're spending way too much or our hard earned tax revenue on gov't
contractors (world wide) who then funnel the money back as return of favor in one way or another. Do we really need so many bases all around the world? Is our central banking system in need of overhaul? The money spent on Iraq and the interest on our loaned money from the private central bank could pay for thousands upon thousand of college programs along with eliminating road tolls
and help with healthcare and so many things - $3 billion+ every day is rather
significant.

So many issues and scams have been brought to the forefront over the past couple of years - really, more of the same??.

So the TX Corridor, the lack of ANY action by Rick Perry to do
anything on the TX/Mexico border, coupled with today's Giuliani
endorsement which obviously lends itself to the New World Order
agenda, was it! Americans know there have been backroom scams going on
throughout its history however they are very concerned about the rapid
pace in which these growing scams are being conducted right out in the open for all to see - moving further away from what America [in general] has stood for for so long and where our "elected" officials believe their constituents work for them versus them working for the hard working, tax-paying citizens.

TX Driver Responsibility Surcharge Program Petition-
http://www.petitiononline.com/TXDRP07/petition.html

Many Thanks~

This law (DRP) is a scam on the poor; the state is using a person's DL, the key to a their lively hood and ability to hold a job, to extort money from Texas Drivers.

The additional fines for such offenses as missing one insurance payment, or having an expired Driver's License defeat the purpose of the law itself (improving the number of drivers with this type of offense- the numbers have skyrocketed).

The additional punishment is not mentioned in the original court preceding, paperwork, or contract. There is no way to appeal them, or wave them, and the judge has no discretionary power to alleviate the cost to those who are financially devastated by the DRP.

If insurance is to be required by law, then the state should ensure that rates are affordable for every one. I will do everything in my power to have the DRP repealed in the next session.:)

Many people who fall into the Driver Responsibility Program are law abiding citizens who do pay their insurance or have maintained an updated license before. They are not habitual offenders. They are hardworking citizens who use their income strictly to pay for rent, electricity, water, health insurance, car insurance, home insurance, flood insurance, medical bills, gas, car maintenance/repair, food/groceries, school supplies, etc. If they fall behind on a payment for car insurance and then face a surcharge that is non-disputable, then the situation snowballs. Also, in TEXAS, relying on public transportation is extremely unrealistic.

Great Study- http://www.nedlc.org/center/license.pdf

When proponents of the TTC decided to embark on a personal agenda in hopes of ensuring their legacy, they placed an unnecessary, unprecedented financial burden on Texas. The TTC will not relieve congestion in and around our states metropolitan areas; it will literally cut Texas in half. (Good luck to any living thing that tries to migrate across central Texas EVER again). Not to mention, the area underlying all of this is crucial land for so many reasons; this includes a large part of our ground water reservoirs and natural resources, as well as land crucial to the arming and agriculture communities.

If you live in NY or Chicago, you could actually survive/thrive and not drive. You would also not have to pay for car insurance. I think that it's a shame that in Texas, you really do not have that option. Metro doesn't go beyond city limits, and the costs of Taxis are outrageous.

Sidewalks are a part of our basic infrastructure and surprisingly there is an extreme lack of sidewalks that even lead from neighborhoods to the closest shopping/working areas.
Sidewalk Project

Who receives money from the surcharges?
TX DPS

Each surcharge collected by the department under this law will be remitted to the Comptroller, on a monthly basis. Trauma centers and county and regional emergency medical services will receive 49.5 percent of the collected money, and the Texas Mobility fund will receive 49.5 percent of the collected money. The money that goes to trauma centers will be handled by the Texas Department of Health, while the **Texas Department of Transportation ** will handle money going to the **Mobility fund**, which funds highway projects, including the **Trans-Texas Corridor**. The remaining one percent of the collected money will go to DPS for operation of the Driver Responsibility program.

The DRP legislation is engineered to generate revenue for the Trans-Texas Corridor. It was established to coincide with the law authorizing the TTC. A new report shows that we had plenty of funds to establish and maintain our highways and infrastructure.

Although some may argue that driving is a privilege, many areas, especially in the state of Texas, lack a reasonable mass transit system that connects suburbs to the metropolitan area.

Further examination reveals how license suspensions unfairly impact the poor and middle class citizens, while the wealthy are vaguely impacted. Traffic tickets punish drivers while richly rewarding the state and
Poor Texans the ones being hurt by increase in charges, Shapleigh says .

As for the economic aspect, suspending people’s license, especially for not paying fines that they cannot afford, prevents them from driving to work and making money- money that they would likely spend and contribute to the state’s economy. Filling our jails/prisons with non-violent, misdemeanor offenders will not solve the extreme overcrowding issues our criminal system is currently facing a major contributor to local jail overcrowding .

So, OK, it's been all of six days since I read or heard something about Governor Perry that made my blood pressure rise. A friend called asking if I was watching the evening news. I missed the news tonight ... unusual for me. It seems the Governor's Mansion is going to be remodeled. While this is being done, Texas will pay his rent to the tune of $9,900.00 a month for him to live elsewhere. Hey there, Gov., the toll free number to Motel 6 is 1-888-466-8356.

Thank you, Mickey Mathis!
Once again, I’m outraged with Governor Perry’s actions. This man placed his hand on the Bible and swore an oath to God to uphold The Texas Constitution. The first few words of our Bill of Rights states that “all political power is inherent in the people”, yet, Governor Perry spends upwards of seven million dollars OF OUR MONEY on an advertising campaign to promote his Trans-Texas Corridor and Toll Road plans. You may have seen my newspaper ads in Ellis, Hill, Navarro, and McLennan Counties where I said the substitution of HB1892 to SB792 was a “bait and switch” scam. Now, by way of a conference call interview with Patrick Driscoll of the San Antonio Express-News, Ric Williamson (Chairman of the Texas Transportation Commission) says: “The moratorium doesn’t affect TTC-35. I don’t know what else to say”. So, according to this article (and I am quoting verbatim), construction of TTC-35 can move forward despite the will of the people of Texas. I take no pleasure in being right about SB792. I do, however, find Governor Perry guilty of not upholding the solemn oath he took as the Governor of Texas.

I have heard a rumor, and it’s just that, a rumor, that we are going to be in for a surprise on the ballot in November. We should be very wary because of this rumor. Wouldn’t it be just like him (The Great Deceiver) to somehow manage to shove something else under an amendment and have us vote for or against it the wrong way? Where there is smoke …. etc., etc.

Then, today, I read about Governor Perry signing on to H1B. How is it possible for him to continue to hold Texas hostage? Maybe Texas can take some small comfort in knowing there are at least twelve other raving mad men loose in our country. I wonder if Governor Perry’s medical plan includes the endless hours on a Psychiatrist’s couch that he so badly needs?

Another reason to impeach Perry. He just signed with 13 other Governors to increase the number of H 1 B Workers in this Country....This while thousands of Black American and American tech workers and programmers are out work. H i B brings in foreign cheap labor. Fight against it. Fight for training, education for American citizens. Stop the H 1B 's

SEND TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW

There is a youtube video of a law firm (Cohen & Grisby) teaching companies how "NOT" to hire American workers. On this video one of the lawyers is quoted saying"Our goal is clearly not to find a qualified U.S. worker". This outrageous video is a class in how to get around the rules to get cheap H1-B visa workers instead of hiring American workers. As we have always said, there is no labor shortage, this is all about getting cheap labor.
Below is a link to the video as well as the email address of the lawyer in the video as well as the President and Chairman of this law firm as well as their phone and fax numbers. Click on the link below to watch an American law firm teach big business how to get around hiring American workers so they can hire cheap H1-B visa holders.

BTW for those among you who are political, note that Hillary Clinton is a big supporter of these visas, she's aiming an arrow right at your economic hearts. Edwards certainly, maybe Richarson, Obama all oppose H1B, as does even Giuliani-- seem like much better candidates. My friend used to be a big Hillary fan, now she hates Hillary due to H1B.

Another reason to impeach Perry. He just signed with 13 other Governors to increase the number of H 1 B Workers in this Country….This while thousands of Black American and American tech workers and programmers are out work.
There is a youtube video of a law firm (Cohen & Grisby) teaching companies how “NOT” to hire American workers. On this video one of the lawyers is quoted saying”Our goal is clearly not to find a qualified U.S. worker”.
How about capping damages in lawsuits in malprcatice cases? There is no accountability any more...Legally you have no way to file a suit in most cases since so much of the discovery process has been gutted, and any important documents you would need that once were discoverable are now "physicians privledge" This includes internal hospital investigations, physician reprimands, ect ect. THANKS RICK!!!! I don't think our constitution should have "protected classes" Negligence is negligence.... For those of you that don't know what negligence is here's an analogy: You assume risk when you have a medical procedure performed everyone understands that , but if the doctor performing the procedure is on drugs and botches the surgery,or is not qualified thats negligence.
Think I'm kidding about the "on drugs"? True story, Houston doctor. Protected by tort reform.

Thanks Rick

What democrat will address and solve this problem?
Virginia's attorney general yesterday sent a letter to President Bush and Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill demanding they "take immediate action to address the issue of illegal immigration" to ease the financial and public safety burdens being shouldered by states. "The borders are not yet secure, the administration and enforcement of the immigration system is cumbersome and ineffective, and the public safety problems caused by criminal aliens are growing," Robert F. McDonnell wrote in a five-page letter to the president, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. "This is unacceptable." Mr. McDonnell, a Republican, urged the president to call a special session of Congress if they cannot resolve the issue during the regular session. He said a lack of money and manpower has led to federal immigration laws not being enforced.
